Tasters Review:

I can’t say as I have had too many or any Quince flavored teas YET but after tasting this one from Byron Bay Tea Company I surely want to try more!

The sweet green tea taste is delightful – the quince was MADE for this tea and it’s juicy but not tart in the slightest – and the Jasmine isn’t over the top or even that strong at all but gives it an overall ‘pretty’ factor that completes the cup.

The Quince is the key and it is good!  Overall, it’s a gentle, fruity, sweet, yet pretty flavored green but I like this!   I really like this!

Tasters Review:

Premium Silky Green Tea from Bird Pick Tea & Herb has an AWESOME aroma!  It’s like nothing I have ever smelled before!

The only way I can describe the dry loose leaf aroma is intensely buttered flavored popcorn – I think I can even smell a little naturally salted flavor – unless I just am associating the aroma with buttered popcorn so much so that my mind is playing tricks on me!  Whatever it is I have to say I would easily give the aroma on this one a 100!!!!

These are some crazy wild leaves, too, that put on quite the show as they unfurl!

The taste is also Buttery!  Buttered Veggies!  Buttered Popcorn!   It’s semi-sweet and a very flavorful green!  The more I sip it the more sweeter it gets!  This is smooth! It reminds me of a milky oolong but then it reminds me of a buttery green!  It may be somewhere in the middle – regardless I am REALLY enjoying this one!

This is probably one of the most memorable greens I have had in a LONG time!

I ended up doing multiple infusions on this one too!  I highly recommend trying multiple infusions with this one!  The 2nd infusions is completely different than the first but far from disappointing!!!!

This is MUCH sweeter and MUCH MORE silkier and creamy and sooth the 2nd time around!   It’s less buttery and more sweet with the 2nd infusion. It’s still FULL of flavor tho and a wonderful tasting green!!!

As for the 3rd infusion…

Again it’s completely different from the previous infusion!  This is still intensely flavored but this time around it’s more of a grassy green with slight buttery notes underneath. It still ends rather smooth and I would still call it silky but a grassier silky instead of a buttered popcorn silky/creamy…maybe more like a broccoli type!?

I LOVE YOU Silky Green!

Tasters Review:

The Persimmon Tree Tea Company is one of those companies that has really grabbed my attention lately.  Their flavor selection is really wonderful and I love their little tin/tubes, too!  I also really like their website and labels.  I just think they are an all-around good company!  If you have the opportunity to check them out – please do!

As far as this specific tea goes…

Prior to infusing…the aroma of this reminded me of my Grandfather because it smelled like his Almond Pistacho Ice Cream he used to eat!  As I infused this it morphed to mostly Caramel scented with a little green tea scent underneath.

I did sip this right away after my infusion was complete and thought it it was pretty good…a nice combo of green tea and caramel.  But as the liquid cooled at room temperature for a little bit I noticed the magic happen!   The Caramel Flavor doubles!  It was very yummy!  The Caramel is genuine and helps cut the craving for sweets, at least for me, it did!

This is really terrific!

The caramel is center of attention here but the green tea flavor is noticeable in the background, too, and there is a little Rooibos sweetness coming thru but not very much but that’s ok because I wouldn’t change a thing about this Persimmon Tree Tea offering!!

Emerald Ice Tea from White August Tea Company

Tea Type: Green Tea

Where To Buy: White August Tea Company

Product Description:

All the good stuff. Beautiful green tea, Ginger, Jasmine and tropical fruits. Our beautifully refreshing melody was made for iced tea and packed with antioxidant richness.

Tasters Review:

This smells like Pineapple, Jasmine, and Green Tea!  It has a very lovely aroma!  I especially like the Pineapple but paired with the green tea and Jasmine it makes it very unique and even more likable!

Emerald Ice from White August Tea Company tastes like gentle flowers, tropical fruit, and green tea.   The Green tea is the main flavor and it’s not a grassy green but it’s not super sweet or buttery either…probably inbetween all of those.  The sip starts off smooth and goes into more of the fruit towards the end of the sip…almost like mixed fruit…pineapple, pear, cherry, you know the mixed fruit you would get in a can?

I really like this flavored green tea – it just seems to have the right amount of everything!

Japanese Cherry from Joy’s Teaspoon

Tea Type: Green Tea

Where To Buy: Joy’s Teaspoon

Product Description:

Cherries play an important role in Japanese culture. The cherry blossom festival which takes place every year is beautiful to look at. The exquisite Sencha base was refined with high-quality sour cherries and a tempting cherry flavor. This blend is doubtless a real classic among the flavored green teas and belongs in every assortment.

Tasters Review:

Japanese Cherry from Joy’s Teaspoon  is really great tasting Sencha and the Cherry is delightful!  I have had Cherry flavored Greens before and many other companies over do it on their flavoring! Either they overdue it or it’s very artificial tasting or in some cases it tastes like medicine…you know…like Pepto or Cough Syrup or something!  This is JUST RIGHT!  I may just say this is my FAVORITE Japanese Cherry to date!  Nicely flavored green!

A little more about Japanese Cherry and Cherry Blossoms:

A cherry blossom is the flower of the cherry trees known as Sakura (桜 or 櫻; さくら?). In English, “sakura” refers to the Japanese flowering cherry, Prunus serrulata.[1][2] Cherry fruit (桜んぼ, sakuranbo?) comes from another species of tree.
